EUTOPIA Student Career Ambassadors

Who are EUTOPIA Student Career Ambassadors?

The EUTOPIA Student Career Ambassadors are a selected group of students working in synergy with the orientation / professional insertion services from their universities.

They aim to create a European network of job, internship, and apprenticeship offers relayed through their social networks and those of EUTOPIA. They help students find companies domestically or abroad and assist fellow incoming students from the EUTOPIA universities in their countries as well.

Furthermore, they organize workshops open to all students, professors, and staff of the EUTOPIA alliance to create links between partner universities’ territories and build successful profiles within the EUTOPIA community.

The subjects of the workshops will cover the job culture in each country of the alliance and how to find jobs in them, career opportunities in European institutions, and many more!

 Ana Tiefengraber

My name is Ana Tiefengraber and I am currently in my second year of International Business Master Studies at the University of Ljubljana.

I am passionate about oenology and the wine industry in general. As a sommelier, I love to discover different wine cultures and autochthonous wine varieties. I can fluently speak English and German, while my mother tongue is Slovenian. I have already done a few semesters abroad, which I hope will help me motivate and inform students on various topics and workshops that can help them in the future.

Irena Semenič

Hello there, I'm Irena, a hardworking and open-minded individual who enjoys working in cross-cultural teams. I have a bachelor's in International Business and currently finishing up my master's in Sociology.
I would describe myself as an infinitely curious individual, always looking for new experiences and opportunities to grow. I speak Slovene, English, French and Croatian. In my free time, you'd probably find me on a hike with my dog or diving deep into a docuseries/book.

Peter Šujica

Hey there! I'm Peter, a law student at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia. When I'm not buried in legal textbooks, I love exploring and meeting new people. Connecting with different cultures has always fascinated me, and it's led me to become fluent in English, French, German, and Croat. I've also dabbled in Spanish, Latin, and even Ancient Greek.

Imagine me wandering through the streets of some interesting foreign city, striking up conversations with people from all walks of life. I thrive on these cultural exchanges, constantly learning and embracing new perspectives. In my downtime, you'll find me lost in the pages of a book, whether it's law-related or a literary adventure. I hope that together, we can create something meaningful.

Lisa Maraldo

My name is Lisa, I'm currently in my last year of Comparative International Relations at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. A fun fact about myself is that, even though I am Italian, I have visited the Great Wall more times than I've visited the Colosseum!  I'm a very curious and open-minded person, interested in learning about what is happening around the globe, about different cultures and making new friends from all over the world.

Last year I had the pleasure to be a sort of Career Ambassador in my home university and being able to help students learn more about career paths and help in organizing events has been a very educational experience that contributed a lot to my professional as well as my personal growth. I reckon this opportunity will be just as fulfilling and I can't wait to give my contribution to this project.

Josephine Borbá

My name is Josephine Borbás and I am studying Molecular Biology and Biotechnology in my fourth year. Within the scope of my earlier studies in different educational facilities abroad, I had the opportunity to gain insight, not only into the obstacles of studying and living in a foreign country but various student issues. In my free time, I volunteer as a member of the biology student council and support students on a daily basis with material and assistance in various areas. One of my ambitions lies in providing students the information for their personal issues as customized as possible, to facilitate their studies and later work life. Hence, I am looking forward to being part of the Student Career Ambassador network and expanding my knowledge and communication skills through the exchange with other members. Since I cherish the idea of promoting multicultural environments at academic institutions, I am engaged in acquiring language skills. Additionally to meeting new people, I am looking forward to gaining insight on other people's perspectives, regarding cultural and scientific topics, by abridging language barriers.
