BeEUTOPIAn – Annual Student-led Conference





What is it?

BeEUTOPIAn is an annual international EUTOPIA conference. It is organized for and by the students, through a team comprised of students from all over the alliance, with the help of the host university. It will be hosted by a different partner every year and permit the students of the EUTOPIA Alliance, as well as other international students, to attend debates on relevant topics, as well as the challenges and scenarios linked to them.

Autumn 2023: Hosted by CY Cergy Paris Université on October 13, 2023.
  • This year's BeEUTOPIAn Conference is devoted to fostering engagement among students in the Eutopia Community and raising awareness about cultural heritage and cultural understanding. It will focus on exploring the methodology of young researchers in addressing these themes and equip them with an understanding of the main methods of science when approaching cultural understanding and cultural heritage. Spring 2022: Hosted by the Vrije Universiteit Brussel from April 25–26, 2022.

Spring 2021: Hosted by the University of Warwick from April 20–22, 2021.
  • This edition will focus on the effects of COVID-19 on students (mental health, digitalization of education, effects on hands-on formations and job opportunities etc.) More info on the program here.

The goal of the 2021 edition of the BeEUTOPIAn Conference in its finality was to create a document based on the findings of the conference, with a list of recommendations and actions for universities to take for the betterment of student welfare in crisis situations, as well as counsel formulated from the student experience on the digitalization of classes.
