Student Career Ambassador Network Meeting in Dresden


From June 6th to 9th, the EUTOPIA Student Career Ambassadors met in Dresden for a series of activities and discussions aimed at fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and enhancing the career prospects of students across the EUTOPIA alliance.

During their time in Dresden, the ambassadors participated in workshops from the TUD Career Service and had the opportunity to job shadow at the Center for Molecular and Cellular Bioengineering (CMCB). They also enjoyed a Pizza Night with the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) and the Global Citizenship Certificate (GGC) team, which facilitated the exchange of ideas and experiences. Additionally, they visited TUUWI to learn about the university’s sustainable practices and environmental initiatives, emphasizing the importance of sustainability within the EUTOPIA community.

The EUTOPIA Student Career Ambassadors are a dedicated group of students working closely with the career and professional orientation services at their respective universities. Their primary goal is to create a robust European network of job, internship, and apprenticeship opportunities, shared through both their personal social networks and EUTOPIA’s official channels. In addition to helping students find positions domestically and abroad, the ambassadors assist incoming students from EUTOPIA universities in acclimating to their new environments.

The ambassadors also organise workshops that are open to all students, professors, and staff within the EUTOPIA alliance. These workshops aim to foster connections between partner universities and build successful career profiles within the EUTOPIA community. Topics covered in these workshops include the job culture in each EUTOPIA country and strategies for finding employment, career opportunities in European institutions, and various other career development topics relevant to the EUTOPIA community.
