Learning Community in Action: I Speak, You Speak, We Speak at the Languages in Use Week!
The Learning Community Text and Discourse Analysis has once more organized its Languages in Use Week.
The learning event took place online across the participating universities (VUB, UPF, UoL, & CY) from November 21st till November 25th, 2022. The activity was held online and opened up for students across the alliance to converse and practice their speaking and listening skills in French, German, Italian, Spanish and English. Over the course of six different language sessions participants across the EUTOPIA alliance universities were put into pairs to discuss topics of their choice in the language of their choice.
With student consent, the conversations were recorded to be later used for students that are studying Discourse Analysis as research material. “It was a really fun event, you can see that thought was put behind it.” - Participant
