From Thursday the 31st of March till Friday the 1st of April 2022, the EUTOPIA Connected Learning Communities (i.e. those that resulted as a spill from the first 6 learning units selected in 2019), took part in a series of reflection and strategy development sessions.
The event took place at the University of Warwick, where all community leads and partners from the first round were invited to meet. The sessions were undertaken in hybrid mode, with 20 participants physically present and 16 online. The Communities undertook several structured breakout and plenary workshops aimed at ‘looking back’ where they reflected on their community’s activities, evaluating what was done, what worked, what did not; as well as sessions on ‘looking forward’, and exploring future scenarios for the communities’ activities, strengths, opportunities, threats and weaknesses and the support they would need.
The Connected Learning Communities from the first selection round that took part were: Multilingualism and Diversity, Data and Critical Thinking, Introduction to Cognitive Science, Technological Business Development, and Geography, Environment and Sustainability.
