Citizen Science Starter Kit webinar on June 7th 2024

As part of the 'Research Communication Week' at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, our Italian member university will be hosting a webinar to present the EUTOPIA Citizen Science Starter Kit on June 7th, 2024.

Developed as a deliverable within the EUTOPIA TRAIN project, the Citizen Science Starter Kit provides information to researchers who are new to citizen science and who are considering initiating a citizen science project, regardless of the scientific discipline. Together, they are a how-to guide for beginners, a foundation course, with the most essential information to get started.

The starter kit consists of different modules:

• Module 1 – Start to learn about citizen science
• Module 2 – Determine if citizen science is right for your research
• Module 3 – Crucial design factors for successful citizen science
• Module 4 - Getting started with citizen science

The co-authors Carina Veeckman and Floor Keersmaekers from Vrije Universiteit Brussel will present the Kit and answer all your questions about citizen science. The webinar will be introduced and moderated by Francesca Favaro, communication officer at Ca' Foscari University of Venice.
