Introducing the 2nd Issue of the EUTOPIA Review

This edition brings together expert perspectives from across the EUTOPIA Alliance on Creating an Entrepreneurial Mindset. It identifies key challenges—fragmented support systems, limited access to funding, and uneven links between academia and industry—and proposes concrete steps to address them. Topics include the role of education, the influence of pedagogues, and frugal innovation ecosystems, alongside proposals for cross-campus mentorship, shared funding platforms, and standardised curricula.

The Review also includes a feature by EUTOPIA’s Science Diplomacy Coordinator, Eric Piaget, on Bridging Science Diplomacy and Entrepreneurship—highlighting how academic innovation can contribute to international cooperation through global case studies in clean energy, infrastructure, and space technology.
