The Humanities, Creation and Heritage University Research School (EUR) based at CY Cergy Paris University, in partnership with the EUTOPIA Alliance and the Campus Versailles, renews the International Heritage Sciences Summer School at the King’s Royal Stables in the Château de Versailles. Each year the Summer School enables the participants to catch a real and practical glimpse of heritage research topics and professions.
Description:
COME AND DISCOVER, around lectures in the morning and project-based research workshops in the afternoon, a dynamic, concrete and exciting aspect of heritage and creation sciences with French and foreign professionals and experts in their fields, in an international environment. Each day will be dedicated to a specific heritage field. These fields include architecture, arts, landscape architecture, heritage studies, conservation-restoration of cultural heritage, creation in the field of literature…
One to two days will also be devoted to collective workshops with craftsmen to discover the craft professions associated with the Campus Versailles, and half a day to a guided visit of the Château de Versailles

This Summer School is aimed at Master’s students, doctoral students, post-docs, researchers, professionals and informed amateurs in the field of heritage sciences.
