University of Babes-Bolyai Summer Schools 2023

Transylvania International Summer Courses of Romanian Language and Civilization represents one of the University`s tradition, recommended across half of century, by the professional expertise of its teachers, the quality of the working materials and of the methods of teaching. The curriculum has been created in such a way that it meets particular individual needs of the participants, whose experience is complete with high value cultural activities, meant to integrate them in the Romanian scenery.

The UBB Centre for International Cooperation is thus pleased to open the call for 52^nd edition of The International Summer Courses of Romanian Language and Civilisation, organised in partnership with the UBB Faculty of Letters. Aside from the participant-oriented courses of Romanian language taught, we annually organise a cultural programme meant to help attendees to get a better grasp of the Romanian spirit.

During this year’s edition, we are planning a more dynamic programme, centred around visits and workshops that challenge people’s practical skills, and involved investigative manner that helps them discover Romanian autochthonous customs and activities.
Also, we want to enjoy the opportunities and Romania’s potential, by taking trips in renowned towns, awarded for their important cultural heritage, such as: Timișoara – 2023 European capital of culture.
