Multilingualism and Diversity: Students lead the way!
As part of the Multilingualism and Diversity Learning Community (LC), a team of students has been tasked to organise the first EUTOPIA Multilingualism & Diversity Student Conference. Most of the activity has been taking place online since January, but they also benefitted from two face-to-face workshops.
In March, LC member Vicent Climent-Ferrando welcomed the Warwick students at UPF to work with their UPF peers. In June, UPF students travelled to the UoW to finalise the conference programme.
The conference took place online on the 13th of July 2022. It explored the themes of Identity, Policy, and Representation, and Multilingualism in Education and the Media. It featured papers by EUTOPIA alliance students and a keynote by Nora Michaelis (UoW).
