EUTOPIA - SIF Cohort 3 Farewell Meeting


The EUTOPIA Science and Innovation Fellowship (SIF) programme is delighted to invite you to join the farewell meeting of the fellow's third cohort, who will be concluding their fellowships at the end of this academic year. 

This special event will bring together fellows, supervisors, and institutional hosts to reflect on two years of scientific growth, collaboration, and innovation. Kicking off the session, Programme Director Yann Giraud will deliver a farewell message, followed by a keynote speech from Mercedes Alonso Giner, Co-leader of the Quantum Chemistry Group (ALGC) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB).

Fellows and supervisors will then take the stage in a “carte blanche” session to share insights into their research achievements, challenges, new collaborations, and next steps beyond.

Programme
  • 10:00-10:10am: Opening discourse – Yann GIRAUD, Programme Director
  • 10:10-10:40am: Keynote on the benefits and challenges of EUTOPIA-SIF for a EUTOPIAn research laboratory - Mercedes ALONSO GINER, ALGC, VUB
  • 10:40-11:30am: Interactive discussion on your insights on your fellowship as a fellow or as a supervisor

In-person gatherings will be taking place at the following EUTOPIA partner universities:
