The EUTOPIA_HEALTH consortium has announced a new interdisciplinary mobility scheme designed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange amongst health researchers across its partner universities. The programme offers short-term mobilities of three to four days, specifically targeting academic staff and researchers seeking to establish cross-disciplinary partnerships within health-related fields.

Strengthening Research Networks

The initiative aims to create and strengthen Connected Health Research Communities (CHRCs) by facilitating the transfer of best practices and promoting career development opportunities. Participants will benefit from exposure to different research methodologies and perspectives, whilst building lasting professional relationships across the consortium's international network.

Eligibility and Requirements

Academic staff and researchers with a minimum of one year's experience in health-related research or research management are invited to apply. Applicants must be employed by one of the consortium's partner universities and demonstrate interdisciplinary collaboration by identifying a potential collaborator from a different health-related field within another member institution. The EUTOPIA_HEALTH Research Map serves as a valuable resource for finding suitable partners.

Funding and Timeline

Each mobility receives funding of up to €1,200 (extending to €1,500 in exceptional circumstances), covering accommodation, travel, and living expenses. The programme guarantees at least 30 mobility opportunities between July 2025 and June 2027, with applications accepted until funding is exhausted.

Partner universities include institutions from Romania, Slovenia, Portugal, Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, and Sweden, creating a diverse network for interdisciplinary health research collaboration. Applications opened on 30th June 2025, with the submission deadline set for 31st May 2027.
