The International Conference of Undergraduate Research (ICUR)
What is ICUR?
The International Conference of Undergraduate Research (ICUR) is an annual hybrid conference celebrating excellence in undergraduate research worldwide. In addition to global partner institutions across multiple continents, Warwick offers the opportunity to participate in ICUR to undergraduate students from institutions across the EUTOPIA network.
But ICUR is more than one event.
It is a year-round programme of training and support for academic and professional development, from abstract submission through to presentation. It is an internationally immersive opportunity for students to network with and learn from the perspectives of like-minded undergraduates from all over the world – crucially, without students needing to travel in order to benefit from these experiences and connections. Above all, it is a supportive yet rigorous research experience, helping students to develop their confidence and professional skills in communication, presentation, and engagement.

How to Participate?
ICUR 2025 will take place on 18th – 19th June 2025.
All students at EUTOPIA institutions are eligible to participate in ICUR if they have research outcomes to present.
We are now accepting abstract submissions for ICUR 2025 until the abstract submission deadline of 31st January 2025. Everyone who attends our student-led conference will find a welcoming and encouraging setting in which to present their work, engage in discussion and learn more about research being undertaken by students around the world.

In the ICUR programme, we provide comprehensive training and support throughout the year. The ICUR Portal is full of resources for students, from Everything You Need to Know Before submitting through Writing and Submitting Your Abstract and Developing Your Presentation; and we have a robust Training Calendar with a full programme of support sessions covering abstract development, interdisciplinary exploration, and (as we get closer to the conference) audience engagement and presentation skills. Sign up to our ICUR 2025 Student Community on Microsoft Teams by filling out this form, and reserve your place at your chosen session(s)!
Further information about ICUR 2025 is available here. Please get in touch with us at ICUR@warwick.ac.uk if you have any questions!
