Expert Seminar Season: EUTOPIA's Educational Model
On 14 September 2021 (14h30 - 17h CET) the EUTOPIA alliance organizes its first Expert Seminar: Exploring Opportunities in Transnational Life-Long Learning.
The demographics of higher education students are changing, yet higher educated graduates who require an update or reorientation of their knowledge and insights are confronted with multiple barriers: responsibilities for family and professional context limit their mobility and available time for studying.
Keynote Speakers
EUTOPIA’s curriculum developers and keynote speakers, Mr. Yves Punie (JRC EU Science Hub) and Mr. Jens Bjørnåvold (CEDEFOP) are very much looking forward to engaging with you in this deep-dive into transnational Life-Long Learning opportunities.
On 14 September, EUTOPIA aims to identify the most suitable learning formats and explore scenarios for flexible learning patterns with the help of our major stakeholders in the field of education and employment in a European context.
A detailed programme of our workshop will be available closer to the event’s date. For now, we kindly ask you to save the date and register here.
The EUTOPIA university partners aim to offer better chances for responding to the ambitions of Life-Long Learners by developing flexible mechanisms that recognize short-term learning efforts building on the concept of micro-credentials. Selected as one of the 17 initial European University pilots funded by the European Commission, EUTOPIA has introduced an educational model revolving around Connected Learning Communities (cross-campus networks of students, staff, and extra-academic stakeholders tackling today’s and tomorrow’s grand societal challenges).
