The much-anticipated calls for research proposals from the CY Initiative and CY Generations are now officially open! From Monday, 4th November 2024, researchers are invited to submit their projects via the designated application platform. This presents an exceptional opportunity for academics to gain support and recognition for their work within one of France’s premier academic and research ecosystems.
CY Initiative of Excellence
The CY Initiative is an elite academic consortium forged through a discerning selection process led by the French government. It unites two prestigious institutions: CY Cergy Paris Université and ESSEC Business School. By pooling their strengths, these institutions enhance their research impact and global visibility. The CY Initiative is poised to support innovative research projects through the EMERGENCE and HORIZON funding programmes, providing the necessary resources for researchers to achieve meaningful advancements.

CY Generations
Funded by the ANR through the PIA 4 ExcellencES programme, the CY Generations initiative prioritises the creation of sustainable, multidisciplinary solutions in collaboration with academic, socio-economic, and governmental partners. Through the CY Alliance, CY Generations is dedicated to advancing research that tackles pressing societal transitions. Eligible researchers may apply for the EMERGENCE and HORIZON funding programmes, fostering sustainable innovation across various domains.

CY Advanced Studies: Fellowship in Residence (FIR) Programme
CY Advanced Studies (CY AS) nurtures pioneering research across diverse fields. Labex MME-DII: A Hub for Interdisciplinary Research
The MME-DII Laboratory of Excellence (Labex) is a collaborative endeavour supported by the ANR’s PIA 2 programme. It brings together 160 experts from six leading institutions in Île-de-France across economics, mathematics, and physics. Labex MME-DII offers three unique funding opportunities each year: Scientific Projects, Scientific Events, and Master’s Study, making it an ideal platform for those engaged in interdisciplinary research.
