Student Career Ambassador Workshop: Moving to… Spain!

As part of their ongoing series of workshops "Moving to..", the Student Career Ambassadors from the UPF are inviting you to this new workshop: "Moving to... Spain!" on Thursday, March 31st, at  6 p.m on Zoom.

Spain has one of the world's largest foreign-born populations: with close to 7 million foreign-born residents in 2020, it sat in the top 10 of the world's most welcoming countries, and the 4rd most in Europe (after Germany, the UK and France). Still, that doesn't mean that it's easy to understand how to move there, for study or for work...

This is where this workshop comes in! The Career Ambassadors wish to provide a more detailed look at the main aspects to consider in your search for employment in the Spanish job market, with a focus on all the steps in the selection process, the social conventions, environment, and culture.

The virtual session will be taught in English by Rich Kurtzman, founder and CEO of Barcelona Study Abroad Experience (SAE). He will provide answers to the following questions:
  • How should you find a place to live?
  • What are the must-haves in Spain?
  • How should you deal with the Spanish authorities?
  • What should you do when you get sick?
  • How much does it cost to live in Spain?
  • What sort of insurance coverage do you need?
REGISTER HERE FOR THE WORKSHOP: Thursday 31st of March, 2022
