PhD and Early Career Researchers "Innovation in Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities Research" Workshop

EUTOPIA invites PhD students and Early Career Researchers to take part in a pilot ‘Innovation in Social Sciences and Arts Research’ workshop on 30thNovember 2022 (9am-12:30pm GMT).
 
Dr Bridget Sealey will deliver an introduction to the fundamentals of innovation in the social sciences, arts and humanities research and will offer pointers to resources and examples of best practice to help further development and learning. This half-day workshop is open to PhD students and Early Career Researchers from relevant disciplines across the alliance. The key objectives of the workshop are to: 
 
  1. Provide an introduction to the fundamentals of research commercialisation in the arts, humanities and social sciences.
  2. Build the awareness and confidence for commercialising the arts, humanities and social sciences within the EUTOPIA community.
  3. Highlight resources and platforms for commercialization of social science, arts and humanities.
  4. Inform the EUTOPIA project team’s understanding of needs and capacity within the community.
Participants will be asked to complete some short assessment questions before and after the workshop to gather feedback to inform EUTOPIA’s innovation strategy moving forward.
