First Edition of EUTOPIA Health Day

Set to Inspire Innovation and Collaboration in Cluj-Napoca

The inaugural EUTOPIA Health Day is scheduled in Cluj at the conclusion of EUTOPIA Week, organized by Babeș-Bolyai University (UBB). This event, forming part of the larger EUTOPIA alliance initiative, aims to champion open and inclusive scientific practices through transdisciplinary workshops and seminars.

EUTOPIA Health Day will unite researchers, postdoctoral fellows, and PhD students from the EUTOPIA_HEALTH consortium to showcase their latest findings. These presentations will spotlight cutting-edge solutions and best practices across various health-related research domains. Moreover, MSc and BSc students will have the opportunity to engage with research groups within the consortium, fostering early professional relationships and promoting future collaborations.

The event will encompass a diverse programme featuring presentations, poster sessions, interactive activities, and debates designed to involve participants and encourage constructive discourse actively. Some activities will be available in a hybrid format, accommodating both on-site and online participation to ensure inclusivity and environmental sustainability.

Workshops during EUTOPIA Health Day will address pressing challenges in health research, focusing on solutions that minimize public, environmental, and mental health impacts. The event will also emphasise the principles of open science, promoting the free exchange of ideas and research results among scientific communities. This approach aims to create an open-access educational environment for budding researchers.

The EUTOPIA_HEALTH project prioritises excellence, collaboration, open science, inclusion, and gender equality. Activities during EUTOPIA Health Day will reflect these core principles, aiming to create a more transparent, collaborative, and inclusive scientific research environment. Best practices and outcomes from the project will be shared with global partners of the EUTOPIA alliance and higher education institutions in the Western Balkans.

EUTOPIA Health Day promises to be a significant step towards fostering innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity in health research, benefiting the scientific community and society. Join us for a day filled with insightful discussions, engaging activities, and the opportunity to network with leading researchers and practitioners in the field of health science.
