Jacques Moscianese is Group Head of the Institutional Affairs Department at Intesa Sanpaolo, managing for the Group the Institutional Relations with Public Institutions, Regulatory Authorities, Antitrust Authorities, and all the relevant stakeholders, including consumers associations, both at national and European level. Qualified lawyer in Italy and France, he previously was the Group Head of Antitrust Affairs and Strategic Support at Intesa Sanpaolo, when he managed the antitrust and merger control-related aspects of the most relevant acquisitions led by Intesa Sanpaolo. In that capacity, Jacques also built and fostered the Antitrust Compliance Program for the entire Group, developing training and information tools for the all the employees in Italy and abroad. Today, the Intesa Sanpaolo Antitrust Compliance Program is recognized as an example of best practice in Europe. Moreover, Jacques took active part in developing the ICC Antitrust Compliance Toolkit in 2013, which still represents the point of reference for antitrust compliance worldwide. Additionally, Jacques has been selected as a Future Leader in the financial industry in 2018 by the Institute of International Finance (IIF) based in Washington DC. Also, he is Board Member of ICC Italia (Italian Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce) and “Expert-Associé” of the European Center for Law and Economics at Essec Business School Paris. Adjunct Professor at Bocconi University and Visiting Professor at the NYU School of Law (a.y. 2025), Jacques often participates as panelist in conferences and seminars. Education: Jacques earned a degree in law from the University Paris 1 Panthéon – La Sorbonne. He also earned a degree in International Public Law from the University of Siena and a Master Degree in International Private Law from the Catholic University of Milan. He speaks French, Italian and English.
