How can students be trained from a European perspective for careers in teaching and education, particularly in urban education areas? This question lies at the heart of the EUTOPIA Connected Community Urban Education, which hosted a BIP in late 2024, bringing together nearly fifty students and staff from eight EUTOPIA university members at CY Cergy Paris University.
The programme consisted of conducting visual surveys on educational issues in urban contexts, in collaboration with city stakeholders and with the assistance of professional photographers. This book presents the programme’s educational approach, the students’ visual productions, and retrospective testimonials from participants. It aims to share enthusiasm for educational exploration that combines international mobility and cooperation, research-based training, collaborative practices.
