The Student Council puts this idea into action by providing students with a direct voice in the alliance’s top decision-making body, the Board of Presidents. This isn’t just a symbolic gesture; it’s a framework for governance that genuinely listens to student perspectives.
What sets the Student Council apart is its diversity and inclusiveness. Representatives are elected from each of EUTOPIA’s member institutions, following the democratic practices and local rules of their universities. This creates a vibrant and varied group that represents different academic cultures, national backgrounds, and personal experiences.
When the Council speaks, it reflects the wide-ranging voices of the pan-European student community.
