The EUTOPIA_HEALTH Cross-University Mobility Programme offers 1–5 month research stays for PhD students and early-career researchers (≤8 years post-PhD) from Widening universities of the Consortium.
Focus: transdisciplinary health research under the mentorship of senior researchers.

- Babeș-Bolyai University
- University of Ljubljana
- NOVA University Lisbon
Who can apply
- PhD students or early-career researchers in health-related fields (medical tech, diagnostics, therapies, public health, health economics, life sciences, clinical psychology, etc.)
- Must identify a host supervisor at a Consortium institution

Funding & duration
- €2,500/month + €500 travel
- Total 75 mobility months (25 per university)
- Remaining months for 2nd call: 17 UBB | 24 UL | 25 NOVA

- Letter of Support (Home Institution)
Evaluation
- Reviewed by Widening university experts
- Based on applicant expertise, proposal quality, feasibility, and transdisciplinary approach
Reporting & responsibilities: Researchers submit interim/final reports and acknowledge funding; hosts provide workspace and guidance.
Call calendar (2nd call):
- Pre-launch: 23 Sept 2025
- Applications: 1 Oct 2025 – 31 Mar 2026
- Evaluation: Jan & Apr 2026
