EUTOPIA strengthens its global impact through strategic European partnerships, including its membership in the European Union Science Diplomacy Alliance, as the only alliance with a dedicated commitment to advancing science diplomacy for international collaboration and evidence-based policymaking.
Complementing this, EUTOPIA actively participates in the FOREU4ALL Community of Practice, a collaborative platform uniting all 73 European University Alliances to share best practices, foster innovation in higher education, and drive joint initiatives, such as workshops on the European Degree Label.
EUTOPIA also contributed, with four other alliances, to EDLAB, the Erasmus+ pilot initiative exploring the joint European Degree Label, further demonstrating its commitment to shaping the future of transnational higher education credentials; and to SMARTT, aiming at analysing, testing, and piloting the new European Degree label criteria, improving the quality and increasing the transferability of future developments of European Degrees across Europe and beyond
Since 2023, EUTOPIA has been instrumental in forming a coalition of European University Alliances at the EAIE Conference, Europe’s foremost forum for international higher education, amplifying advocacy and highlighting the alliance model’s transformative impact.
All these partnerships strengthen EUTOPIA’s role in developing sustainable, inclusive policies across Europe, promote knowledge exchange, and tackle societal challenges through unified academic networks.
