The alliance signed the CoARA Agreement, aligning with the European Commission’s call for responsible research evaluation beyond impact factors.


3. Young Leaders Academy

The Young Leaders Academy strengthens Europe’s human capital base by supporting early- and mid-career researchers through:

  • Leadership development
  • Cross-border mobility
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Innovation-driven research

The initiative contributes directly to the ERA objective of sustainable research careers.


4. Training Mutualisation & Skills Development

EUTOPIA TRAIN enhances research careers through a shared framework for transferable skills training across ten universities.

5. GLENN – Grants, Legal & Innovation Network

GLENN (Grants, Legal & Innovation Support Network) strengthens institutional interoperability across the alliance.

It enables:

  • Coordinated responses to EU funding calls
  • Pre-award and post-award alignment
  • Innovation and IP mentoring
  • Ethics and gender integration support
  • Rapid Response Protocol for extraordinary EU calls

GLENN directly enhances European competitiveness in EU R&I programmes.


6. Human Resources Strategy & Human Capital Roadmap

The EUTOPIA HR Strategy aligns with:
