Our Partner Universities
Babeș-Bolyai University (UBB) | Cluj-Napoca, Romania
Romania’s largest university serves approximately 45,000 students across 21 faculties. What makes UBB distinctive? It uniquely offers teaching in Romanian, Hungarian, and German—plus programs in 17 languages total. The university leads Romania’s academic rankings and hosts 24 cultural centers and foreign institutes. Its motto—traditio nostra unacum europæ virtutibus splendet (our tradition shines with European virtues)—captures its commitment to excellence and cultural engagement.
Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) | Brussels, Belgium
VUB champions research and education on a human scale. Founded in 1970, it inherited a 1834 legacy of academic freedom and independence from state and church. Today, nearly 19,000 students across eight faculties pursue 150+ study programs. Notably, 23% of VUB’s student body is international, representing 145 nationalities. The university leads in photonics, robotics, AI, and biomedical research. Times Higher Education ranks it among the world’s top 6% universities.
Ca’Foscari University of Venice (UNIVE) | Venice, Italy
Founded in 1868 as Italy’s first business school, Ca’Foscari now offers multidisciplinary programs spanning economics, modern languages, humanities, and sciences. The university attracts global talent through excellence in teaching and frontier research. Recent research focuses include climate change, digital humanities, and social innovation. Impressively, Ca’Foscari ranks fourth in Europe for attracting Marie Curie fellows—a position it’s held for four consecutive years.
CY Cergy Paris Université (CY) | Paris Region, France
CY operates as a diversity-driven, internationally-oriented institution serving 26,000 students. The university organizes around an undergraduate college and four graduate schools, partnering with ESSEC Business School. Its research potential ranks 180th globally (5th among French universities). Moreover, CY Transfer—its knowledge and technology strategy—focuses on business, heritage, and social security. The institution employs 1,200 researchers across 24 laboratories and 16 campuses.
Dresden University of Technology (TUD) | Dresden, Germany
TUD counts among Germany’s largest technical universities. The institution uniquely combines natural sciences, engineering, humanities, social sciences, and medicine across 17 faculties. This rare disciplinary breadth enables interdisciplinary innovation. With 124 degree programs, TUD addresses global challenges in health, biomedicine, IT, smart materials, energy, and societal change. The university aims to become a cosmopolitan campus with expanded international networks and global visibility.
University of Gothenburg (GU) | Gothenburg, Sweden
Founded in 1891, Gothenburg serves approximately 49,000 students across eight faculties. The university’s vision—”A University for the World”—reflects its commitment to societal development and sustainability. Notably, nearly 6,000 staff members support research and teaching that addresses global challenges. The institution is environmentally certified and actively advances sustainable development while educating democratic citizens grounded in human rights.
University of Ljubljana (UL) | Ljubljana, Slovenia
Slovenia’s oldest and largest research institution was founded in 1919. Today, UL serves approximately 40,000 students across 23 faculties and three art academies. The university employs about 6,500 educators, researchers, and support staff. Importantly, UL commands 30% of all registered researchers in Slovenia. The institution maintains close partnerships with multinational corporations and leading Slovenian companies while ranking in the top 600 universities globally (ARWU).
NOVA University Lisbon (NOVA) | Lisbon, Portugal
Founded in 1973, NOVA ranks in the top 14 young European universities (under 50 years old). The institution emphasizes sustainability, interdisciplinarity, and innovation across nine schools. NOVA’s mission centers on serving society at local, regional, and international levels. Particularly, it prioritizes relationships with Portuguese-speaking countries. The university combines rigorous education with collaborative, problem-focused research and international engagement.
Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) | Barcelona, Spain
Established in 1990, UPF has rapidly become a leading research-intensive university. The institution trains students through rigorous, innovative, personalised education grounded in scientific and cultural knowledge. UPF operates three campuses and eight faculties. Significantly, Times Higher Education ranks UPF as Spain’s #1 university (156th globally). The Impact Rankings place UPF among the world’s 200 universities with strongest UN Sustainable Development Goals performance.

University of Warwick (UW) | Warwick, United Kingdom
Among the UK’s leading universities, Warwick achieves excellence in research, teaching, and business innovation. Established in 1965, it operates 31 academic departments across three faculties. The university ranks in the UK’s top 10 and globally at 61st (QS 2022). Warwick provides a supportive environment where students and academics create impact—whether locally or globally. The institution continues challenging older, more established universities through innovation and ambition.
