Luka Mišič is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Labour Law and Social Security Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana, where he also serves as Vice-Dean for Quality Assurance. His teaching and research explore the regulation of social protection systems, both nationally and internationally, with a particular focus on social insurance. Luka is actively involved in shaping the future legal framework for physician-assisted dying in Slovenia. He is a former Editor-in-Chief and current editorial board member of the Ljubljana Law Review, and one of the coordinators of ELLYS—an international network of young labour and social security law scholars supported by the ISLSSL.
