Rigorous Scholarship for Contemporary Europe
In an age of fragmented information and algorithmic misinformation, Europe’s leading universities created a space for what matters most: rigorous, collaborative intellectual work.
The EUTOPIA Review is a peer-reviewed platform where scholars from 10 European universities and 6 global partners publish original research on the critical issues shaping our world. We combine depth with impact—delivering the nuanced analysis that contemporary challenges demand.

Why it matters
Not another journal. While social media offers speed and streaming platforms offer endless content, the EUTOPIA Review delivers what algorithms cannot: carefully vetted scholarship that examines complex issues in their full context.
We focus on three core commitments:
Interdisciplinary Excellence
We bring together researchers across humanities, technology, policy, and science—breaking down disciplinary silos to tackle questions that require multiple perspectives. Our authors challenge established boundaries and develop innovative methodologies that advance knowledge.
Policy Impact
Science diplomacy sits at the heart of what we do. Our research directly informs European policymaking on technology, ethics, innovation, and international cooperation—bridging the gap between academic insight and real-world problem-solving.
Collaborative Strength
The EUTOPIA alliance represents Europe’s intellectual leadership. By publishing within this network of premier universities, researchers amplify their impact while contributing to a shared European intellectual community.
Who should publish here
- Researchers seeking high-impact venues that value rigor, originality, and cross-disciplinary innovation.
- Scholars working across fields, languages, and intellectual traditions who want genuine international reach.
- Experts with research that informs policy, technology, or society—who want their work to matter beyond academia.
What we publish
Essays | Research articles | Interviews | Science diplomacy analysis
All contributions meet rigorous scholarly standards while remaining intellectually accessible to educated readers beyond the author’s discipline.
