Lifelong Learning Virtual Seminar with The Guild

The Guild seminar series: Transnational Collaboration and Lifelong Learning: Looking back – looking forward

Founded in 2016, The Guild comprises twenty-one of Europe’s most distinguished research-intensive universities in sixteen countries and is dedicated to enhancing the voice of academic institutions, their researchers, and their students.

Together with the University of Warwick, they are organizing a seminar that explores lifelong learning in relation to transnational collaboration, with a special focus on the micro-credentials agenda and its potential for universities.

What is the anticipated and desired effect of micro-credentials in research-intensive institutions? Can they be offered alongside current research-based longer degrees, or will they remain peripheral? And how can alternative pathways be funded?

When, where, how?

The seminar will take place on Tuesday 29th of June, 2021, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. CET.
