Anca Dobrean is Professor and Head of the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at Babeș-Bolyai University.
She is certified and a clinical psychologist and cognitive behavioral psychotherapist and from 2012 she is the President of the Romanian Association of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Her research interests focus on the developing, investigating, and disseminating evidence-based assessment and interventions for child and adolescent mental health problems with a particular emphasis on child and adolescent internalizing problems, ADHD and parental contribution to child psychopathology.
She is also interested in ways technology can be used to enhance mental health treatments for children, adolescent and parents. In the present she coordinates the DETECT Lab (Digital Enhanced Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies for Children, Adolescents and Parents).
